McGeoch Commander & Endurance are ATEX & IECEX Approved LED Components

Both McGeoch Commander and Endurance devices utilize the latest generation of high performance LED's (making them as bright as fluorescent lights) which have a maintenance-free design life of between 8 and 10 years. They also incorporate leading edge materials and solid state technology that negates the use of 'bi' or 'mono' pins or electronic ballasts that are currently plaguing other lighting designs.

Designed to prevent accidental damage during handling, the units are fully enclosed within separate compartments before being enclosed within marine grade aluminium chassis. The chassis, which also act as a heat sink to extend the life of the LED's, are treated with a ceramic anodised finish and are then totally contained within a robust polycarbonate enclosure. The enclosures are subsequently factory sealed to IP68 to completely thwart corrosion.

In addition to the excellent high luminous efficiency characteristics of McGeoch Offshore's LED lighting technology, these luminaries offer considerable savings in terms of both maintenance and reduced power consumption. They are also designed to withstand shock, vibration and operate reliably in harsh and hazardous environments such as those found on many on/offshore and naval applications.
